[Review] July Activities of Sciences Po Alumni in Shanghai

In July, Sciences Po Alumni in Shanghai organized several activities for the Alumni community. Here’s a snapshot of these unforgettable moments.

——2023 Sciences Po Shanghai Alumni Career Experience Sharing ——

On July 1st, Sciences Po Alumni in Shanghai held a successful career experience sharing session. Four alumni joined us to have a discussion with young talents and shared valuable experiences and insights. They are Philippe ARCHAMBAULT (Managing Director of L’Oréal Luxe North Asia), Denis DEPOUX (Global Managing Director of Roland Berger), François AMMAN (Co-founder and Co-President of Aden Group), and Natacha EXTIER (Founder of Blue Vision). This sharing session provided a rare opportunity to learn from and connect with experienced alumni.

——West Bund Art Museum Exhibition Visit ——

On July 2, around 20 alumni joined us for an unique visit at the West Bund Art Museum organized by Sciences Po Alumni in Shanghai, for the exhibition "Paintings of Origin - Surrealism and the Orient". The exhibition is curated by the deputy Director of Pompidou to show how Western artists use the "Oriental Spirit" to express their creations, allowing us to appreciate the artistic charm of the fusion of different cultures.

——2023 farewell party for new Sciences Po students in Shanghai——

On July 18, Sciences Po Alumni in Shanghai held a farewell party for new Sciences Po students to celebrate and prepare for their new journey in France. The Alumni in Shanghai invited five senior alumni, namely Xiangdong Zhang (Class of 92, former head of HR in French company)),  Ruqian FAN (Founder of Shan Hai Institute),  Philippe ARCHAMBAULT (General Manager of L'Oréal Luxe North Asia), Xiaolei GU (General Manager at Consulting Division of FABERNOVEL), and Huayin LIU (Representative of Sciences Po Paris in China) joined the farewell party. Joan VALADOU, the Consul General of France in Shanghai, also joined our senior alumni as special guest to share their valuable experience of studying in Sciences Po and the life in France with the students.
