In a lively debate about career opportunities in the post-Brexit UK, Linus Terhorst, President of the UK chapter, highlighted the advantages of the UK, reminding us the dynamism and the international dimension of the alumni network.
Accordingly, Sacha Nacouzi stated how London remains still "plenty of opportunities, being a very welcoming, inclusive and comfortable metropolitan society".
According to Thierry Seang, in the UK the recruiting industry is very dynamic and "your career can progress quickly in comparison to France".
Nathalie Le Pennec highlighted how work-life balance is excellent in the UK, thanks to flexible work and a performance-based approach, in which "you are expected to show your results instead of spending long hours in the office".
Finally, despite the difficulties that Brexit has provoked in terms of requirement of VISA for European nationals, at the same time talents have now more leverage to negotiate their career progressions and salaries.
