On June 8th, Wu Chen, the Editor-in-Chief of "The Economist Global Business Review," had a dialogue with Hervé Machenaud, a former Executive Vice President of Électricité de France (EDF) and alumnus of the School of Business and Economics, discussing energy issues.

In this interview, centered around the Chinese edition of Hervé Machenaud's book "La France dans le Noir" published last year, and drawing on his more than 30 years of experiences in the energy industry, Mr. Machenaud shared his strategic thinking on the context and direction of European energy policy, and discussed the future path of energy transition.
