The Cercle Europe of Sciences Po Alumni and the Association des Etudiants de l'Ecole d'Affaires Publiques are delighted to invite you to their next conference:

Power, Democracy, Citizens and Europe: advocacy

As part of a cycle of events, this conference will allow participants to discuss with three prominent speakers on the activity of advocacy and the representation of interests around and inside the EU institutions.

To get a better insight of how this sphere of power is working and how it influences the EU functioning, we will discuss with  :

Alberto Zilio, Director of Public Affairs – Europe for AT&T, one of the largest communications company in the world, former senior manager at DIGITALEUROPE, the European Lobby of the Digital Industry, and former associate director for an innovative public affairs consultancy in Brussels, leading the ICT and telecom team

Ioana Surputeanu, Chief Strategy Officer at DIA, the decentralized finance project focused on crowd-verified financial data. Ioana is specialised in the design and implementation of strategies and EU-level policy engagement, with a clear focus on banking an financial sectors.   Until March 2021 she was co-head of European government affairs at Citi Bank.

Nick Blow, partner at the Brunswick Group - Brussels office, leading on technology and consumer industry groups, specialised in competition and antitrust, retail, digital services and technology hardware

Looking forward to discussing with you and our guests on the 8th of April .

As usual, after a 30’ presentation, the main part of the conference will be dedicated to questions.
