La conférence réunira Arancha Gonzalez, Doyenne de PSIA à Sciences Po et Catherine E. de Vries, Doyenne aux Affaires Internationales à l'université Bocconi de Milan, autour des défis auxquels l’Union européenne fait face aujourd’hui entre tensions géopolitiques, réchauffement climatique, croissance des flux migratoires et essor des populismes.
La discussion, qui se tiendra en anglais, sera suivie d’une session de questions-réponses, dans le cadre convivial de l’Osteria del Vino de l’établissement Eataly.

ARANCHA GONZÁLEZ is Dean of the Paris School of International Affairs (PSIA) at Sciences Po. Prior to joining PSIA, Dean González served as Spain’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation (2020-2021). She previously was Assistant-Secretary-General of the United Nations and Executive Director of the International Trade Centre (2013-2020). Between 2005 and 2013, she served as Chief of Staff to the Director-General of the World Trade Organization. Before that she held senior positions at the European Commission in the areas of international trade and development. Dean González started her career as a lawyer in the private sector. |
CATHERINE E. DE VRIES is Dean for International Affairs and Professor of Political Science at Bocconi University, Prof. De Vries serves as the scientific advisor for the Bertelsmann Foundation, as a member of European Integration Committee of the Dutch Advisory Council on Foreign Affairs, and as a member of the Board of Trustees of the Hertie School of Governance in Berlin. Her academic work focuses on the the key challenges facing the European continent today, such as Euroscepticism, political fragmentation, migration and corruption. |
