Conference « One Planet, One Health. New Approaches to Address Climate Change »

La date limite de clôture des inscriptions est passée.

An event organized by the Paris School of International Affairs (PSIA)

If it wasn't clear already, the Covid 19 epidemic demonstrates how human health is intrinsically linked to animal health and environmental factors. Accordingly, global health actors are now moving towards broader approaches that look at planetary health beyond national borders.

Our distinguished panelists will discuss these challenges, including how global health is fundamental to addressing Climate Change.

GUEST SPEAKERS:

  • Serge Breysse, Director General at Solthis (an NGO dedicated to improving global health), and Lecturer at Sciences Po
  • Vanina Laurent-Ledru, Director General at Foundation S (Sanofi's philanthropy arm)
  • Neelika Malavige (joining via zoom), Head of Dengue Global Program and Scientific Affairs at DNDi (a not-for-profit research organization developing new treatments for neglected patients)
  • Marisa Peyre (joining via zoom), Epidemiologist at CIRAD (French agricultural research and cooperation organization working for the sustainable development of tropical and Mediterranean regions)

CHAIRED BY:

  • Louis Pizarro, Executive Director at DNDi and Scientific Advisor Global Health at PSIA
